What canaicrawl is

A free tool that reports how a website’s robots.txt, indexing signals and server respond to 30 named bots. It is offered as is. The report shows what our server saw at the moment of the check, from our own network; it is not a guarantee of what any bot operator does, and it is not legal, SEO or security advice.

Fair use

Use the checker for sites you run or have a legitimate interest in, at a human pace. The service limits new checks per visitor and refuses automated bulk use. Do not use it to probe, overload or interfere with anyone’s site.

Monitoring

Monitoring is in early access. Requesting access creates no subscription and no charge. When it opens, its own terms will be shown before anything is set up.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a report, for a report being wrong or unavailable, or for changes you make to your robots.txt, firewall or site.
